Grunge?
Influenced by music from Seattle like green river, Nirvana and Pearl Jam, Grunge scene continues to spread throughout Malaysia.Grunge scene began to grow in the 90s era which is also the birth of the post-grunge band of Butterfingers Malaysia.Butterfingers also create songs and material oriented Grunge example, The Chemistry of the whistling song adolescents in the era of Grunge scene first. Adolescents in Malaysia have been influenced by this scene when first reaching punkrock and indie alternative music. They also began to imitate the application of the godfather of grunge, Kurt Cobain. With the Converse Chuck Taylor or Jack Purcell, corduroy jeans and clothes, strikethrough to write the names of their favorite band was enough to be a grunger. At the same time Grunge very popular worldwide. Nirvana Band is known throughout the world. But in '94 the world was shocked by the deaths of Kurt Grunge godfather. Kurt had died by suicide. But forensic experts have found Kurt committed suicide by taking an overdose of heroin.After a few years of the death of Kurt, Grunge scene began to fade with the advent of pop music. Many grungers began to turn their music genre.
This was so the Grunge scene in Malaysia. But actually we can find them at the some other events or gigs. just nowadays local grunge scenes not showing off anymore but stay humble. Theres a local grunge band that i always supporting like maddame.
